Teams let you group up with friends, with your own private team chat and even your own Discord channel. Teams are purely social - they don't change how the game plays.
What a team does#
- Team chat - talk to only your team with
/tc. - No accidental combat logs - teammates never start a combat-log timer on each other.
- Your own Discord - link team chat to a channel in your team's own Discord server.
There's no limit on how many players a team can have, and teams don't change friendly fire.
Spotting a team member#
Hover over a player's name in chat. If they're in a team, their team tag shows up. If no tag shows, they're not part of a team.
Team ranks#
| Rank | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything - invite, kick, promote, demote, link Discord and disband. One per team. |
| Admin | Invite and kick Members, and link or unlink the team's Discord. |
| Member | Team chat and everything that comes with being in the team. |
Promoting an Admin to Owner swaps your ranks, so you're asked to confirm first.
ImportantIf the Owner dies for good or leaves, ownership passes to the longest-serving Admin automatically - or the longest-serving Member if there are no Admins. If nobody is left, the team is disbanded.

Linking your team's Discord#
- Run
/team discordand use the link to invite our bot to your team's own Discord server. - In Discord, turn on Developer Mode (User Settings, then Advanced).
- Right-click the channel you want and choose Copy Channel ID.
- In-game, run
/team discord set <channel-id>.
Team chat is now connected to that channel. /team discord clear unlinks it again. Only the team Owner and Admins can set or clear it.
TipMake sure the bot can see the channel - if it can't, /team discord set tells you so.
