Discord Bot Terms of Service

1What the bot does

The bot runs in the official One Life Hardcore Discord server, and teams can also add it to their own Discord server to connect their team chat. It:

• relays chat between a Discord channel and the Minecraft server, both ways;
• posts server events, such as deaths, joins and leaves, advancements and the player list;
• sends you a direct message when staff reply to your ticket, if you linked your Discord account on the website;
• connects your in-game team chat to a channel in your own Discord server, if your team adds the bot there;
• connects staff tools between Minecraft and Discord in the official server.

2Using the bot

• Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and our server rules.
• Messages you send in a bridged channel are shown in-game, and the same rules apply to them as to in-game chat.
• Don't try to abuse, spam, overload or exploit the bot, or use it to get around a mute or ban.
• If you add the bot to your own server for team chat, you're responsible for that server and its members following Discord's rules. Only add it for your own One Life team.

3Moderation

Breaking these terms or the server rules can lead to a mute, kick or ban on Discord, in-game and on the website.

4Availability

The bot is provided "as is". It can be offline, change, or be removed at any time, and as far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using it.

5Not affiliated

One Life Hardcore isn't affiliated with Discord, Mojang or Microsoft.

6Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will announce significant changes in our Discord server. If you keep using the bot after that, you accept the new version.
