Teams let you group up with friends, with your own private team chat and even your own Discord channel. Teams are purely social - they don't change how the game plays.
What a team does#
- Team chat - talk to only your team with
/tc. - No accidental combat logs - teammates never start a combat-log timer on each other.
- Your own Discord - link team chat to a channel in your team's own Discord server.
There's no limit on how many players a team can have, and teams don't change friendly fire.
Spotting a team member#
Hover over a player's name in chat. If they're in a team, their team tag shows up. If no tag shows, they're not part of a team.
Team ranks#
| Rank | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything - invite, kick, promote, demote, link Discord and disband. One per team. |
| Admin | Invite and kick Members, and link or unlink the team's Discord. |
| Member | Team chat and everything that comes with being in the team. |
Promoting an Admin to Owner swaps your ranks, so you're asked to confirm first.
ImportantIf the Owner dies for good or leaves, ownership passes to the longest-serving Admin automatically - or the longest-serving Member if there are no Admins. If nobody is left, the team is disbanded.
The team menu#
Type /team to open your team menu:
- No team yet? Create one, see your invites (click to join, shift-click to decline) or browse every team and who's in it.
- In a team? See every member with their rank and whether they're online, invite players who are online, switch team chat on or off and link your team's Discord. Owners and Admins can promote, demote or kick members, always with a confirm step first. You can leave the team (or disband it, as Owner) from here too.
Commands#
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/team | Opens your team menu. /team help shows every team command in chat. |
/team create <name> | Start a new team. |
/team invite <player> | Invite a player. |
/team accept [team] and /team decline [team] | Answer an invite. |
/team invites | See your open invites. |

/team kick <player> | Remove a member. |

/team disband | Delete your team (Owner only). |
/team list | See who's in your team. |
/team info [team or player] | See any team - its owner, members, who's online and when it was founded. Use a player's name to find their team. |

/tc | Turn team chat mode on or off. |
Linking your team's Discord#
- Run
/team discordand use the link to invite our bot to your team's own Discord server. - In Discord, turn on Developer Mode (User Settings, then Advanced).
- Right-click the channel you want and choose Copy Channel ID.
- In-game, run
/team discord set <channel-id>.
Team chat is now connected to that channel. /team discord clear unlinks it again. Only the team Owner and Admins can set or clear it.
TipMake sure the bot can see the channel - if it can't, /team discord set tells you so.
