The SMP restarts twice a day to keep it running smoothly: at 06:00 and 18:00 (Central European time - the same time zone as Amsterdam and Berlin).
The warnings#
You get plenty of warning:
- A message in chat 30, 15, 10 and 5 minutes before the restart. The same warnings are posted in the Discord chat.
- A 10-second countdown at the end, in chat and on your screen.
Then the SMP restarts. It's usually back within a minute or two - just join again.
ImportantWhen the first warning comes, get somewhere safe. Don't start a fight, dive into lava or fly over the void with a restart minutes away.
Will a restart kill me?#
No. A restart is not combat logging - leaving because the server restarts never eliminates you, even mid-fight. See Combat Log.
You come back exactly where you were, with everything you had.
TipIf something did go wrong during a restart and you died because of it, open a Death Appeal.
