The Nether and the End are where a lot of runs end. Here's how to come back from both.
Going to the Nether#
Bring with you:
- Full iron armor or better, a shield and a sword or axe
- At least one piece of gold armor - Piglins attack you if you aren't wearing any
- Fire Resistance potions - they make lava harmless for a few minutes
- Plenty of food, blocks to build with and a pickaxe
- Flint and steel to relight your portal if it gets blown out
Watch out for:
| Danger | How to stay safe |

| Lava | It's everywhere. Never walk on a path without blocks on both sides, and build walls along bridges. |
| Ghasts | Their fireballs blow holes in bridges and push you off edges. Hit the fireball back, or hide. |
| Beds | Beds explode in the Nether and the End - never try to sleep there. |
| Piglins | Keep your gold armor on and don't open chests or mine gold near them. |
| Hoglins | They hit hard and knock you back - fight them away from ledges. |
| Getting lost | Leave a trail of torches or blocks back to your portal. Every block in the Nether is 8 blocks in the Overworld. |
Going to the End#
The Ender Dragon has most likely already been killed on One Life - but just in case someone has respawned it, bring this:
- Full armor (diamond or better), a shield and your best sword
- A bow or crossbow with plenty of arrows - for the dragon and the End Crystals
- Lots of building blocks to pillar up and bridge across the island
- A water bucket - for climbing down pillars and breaking falls
- Plenty of food, and healing or Slow Falling potions if you have them
- A carved pumpkin to wear, so Endermen don't attack you when you look at them
NoteYou don't arrive on the obsidian platform. Entering the End puts you at a random safe spot around the main island, as far from other players as possible - so nobody can camp the platform and wait for you.
Once you're there:
- Destroy the End Crystals on top of the pillars first - they heal the dragon.
- Stay away from the edges of the island. Falling into the void is certain death.
- Never try to sleep - beds explode here too.
