The MOTD (Message of the Day) is the text shown under One Life Hardcore SMP in your Minecraft multiplayer server list. We'd love your help writing new ones!
How It Works#
The MOTD has two lines:
- Line 1 always says ☠ One Life Hardcore SMP ☠
- Line 2 is picked at random from a list every time your server list refreshes, so you'll see a different one now and then
The Current Messages#
These are the line 2 messages you can see right now:
- One Life. One World. No Second Chances.
- 0 days since last death.
- No respawns. No mercy. One Life.
- Every day could be your last.
- Permadeath. Real stakes. Real hardcore.
- The hearts are just a resource pack!
- Into the dark, where every mistake is your last
- You may start alone, but never truly be alone
- Can someone gear me please?
How to Suggest One#
- Scroll down to the comments at the bottom of this page.
- Write your MOTD idea as a comment, one idea per comment.
- Like someone else's idea? Leave a comment saying which one, so we know it's popular.
What Makes a Good MOTD?#
- Short: about 45 characters at most, or it gets cut off in the server list
- On theme: one life, permadeath, survival, danger, the community
- Fun, scary or clever, all welcome
- Keep it friendly: nothing offensive, no other servers' names and no links
⭐ The staff team reads the comments regularly. The best ideas will be added to the server list, and you'll be credited on this page!
