Players & leaderboards#
Every player who has played on One Life has a profile under Players: their skin, rank, team, play time, stats and how their story is going. The Leaderboards show the most play time, top mob and player killers, miners, travellers and wiki writers - updated every 10 minutes.
Finding your way around#
- Search - use the search bar at the top of every wiki page; results appear while you type. Press
/anywhere on the wiki to jump straight into it. - Categories and Players - open the menus in the wiki bar to browse a topic, find a player or check the leaderboards.
- All pages and Recent changes - see every page, or what was written and changed most recently.
- Contents - longer pages get a table of contents, so you can jump straight to a section.
- History - every version of every page is saved. Open a page's history to see who changed what and when.
- Was this page helpful? - log in and rate a page at the bottom. It tells us which pages need more work.
- Comments - leave a comment under any page, and like the comments you agree with. Sort them by newest or most liked.
- Report this page - spotted vandalism or wrong info? Use the report button on the page and staff will take a look.
- Images - click any image to see it full size.
Deaths#
On One Life, death is permanent - and every fall is remembered.
- Players who played at least 5 hours automatically get a death page in Deaths: how they died, when it happened, their stats from that life and their skin.
- Every death page has a story - the tale of that player's run, written and improved over time, with its own edit history.
- Wills - a player's final message appears on their death page 7 days after they die. That leaves time to appeal a death before the page and will are shown for good.
- Revived players have their death page removed automatically.
- Died before reaching 5 hours? Anyone can create a page for a player who is currently dead.
- Want to honour someone who fell? Write a tribute in the Player Memorial.
TipThe Deaths page lists every fallen player, newest first.
Writing pages#
Anyone with a website account and a verified email can create and improve pages. Press New page in the wiki bar, or Edit page on any page. The official server guides are kept up to date by staff - everything else is yours to write in. The editor has a toolbar for all of this, and a live preview as you type:
| Write | Get |
|---|---|
## Heading | a section heading (shows up in the page's contents) |
**bold** / *italic* | bold / italic |
- item / 1. item | a bullet list / a numbered list |
[[Page name]] | a link to another wiki page |
[text](https://...) | a normal link |
> Tip: ... | a highlighted box (also Note:, Warning: and Important:) |
The toolbar can also add tables, upload images and add colourful buttons that link to pages on the site. Images can be made smaller or floated left or right next to the text - just drag the handles in the preview.
Each edit can include a short note describing what you changed, so the history stays easy to follow.
Ground rules#
- Keep pages accurate and helpful - if you're not sure something is true, leave it out or ask on Discord.
- Write about the game, not about attacking other players.
- Vandalism, spam or griefing the wiki can get your website account restricted. Staff see every change as it happens and can restore any older version in seconds.
More from One Life#
The team, the world and the rules, patch notes, ranks that support the server, help from staff and the community - all one click away:
See you on the server - and good luck staying alive. 💀
