The One Life Expansion Begins: A New Lobby, Leaderboards & More

A One Life button in your Escape menu, and brand-new leaderboards on the Wiki for every single stat. 🎮

⏸️ A One Life Button in Your Escape Menu

Press Esc in-game and you'll now find a One Life button. It opens a small menu with everything you need, one click away:

• 📖 One Life Menu: opens the /ol menu with every command
• 📊 My Stats: opens your /stats
• 🗳️ Vote: opens /vote
• 🌐 Wiki, 💬 Discord and 💎 Store: open the website or Discord

⌨️ Tip: you can open the same menu with a key. Set Quick Actions under Options > Controls > Key Binds.

The first time you click a command button, the game may ask if you want to run it. That's a normal Minecraft safety check. The button is for Java players, Bedrock players can keep using /ol.

🏆 Leaderboards for All 208 Stats

The Leaderboards on the Wiki got a full rework. Instead of a handful of boards, there's now one for every stat in /stats, sorted into the same categories as the in-game menu:

• ⚔️ Combat & Kills, ⛏️ Mining & Building, ❤️ Survival, 🧭 Travel & Exploration, 🔨 Crafting, 🔔 Community & More and 🎃 Halloween
• 🔍 Search any stat, from diamonds to zombie kills
• 👑 See who leads the most boards in each category

Every stat also has its own page with more info:

• 📖 What it counts, and where it comes from
• 📊 The server total, the average and the median
• 🥇 A podium for the top 3, and the full ranking of every player
• 🙋 Logged in with your Minecraft account linked? It shows your place and who's just ahead of you

Hid a stat with /stats off? It stays hidden on the website too.

🧭 A New Lobby with a Server Selector

This is the start of the One Life Hardcore expansion: one network with more than one server, starting with the Lobby you land in. It's getting ready for two servers, and when you join, you no longer go straight into the queue:

• 🧭 You get a Server Selector compass. Right-click it to choose One Life Hardcore, and you join right away (or queue if it's full)
• ⏳ Semi One Life Hardcore is in the menu too, marked Coming soon
• 🚶 You can walk around the Lobby now instead of being frozen in place
• 💬 Chat is open, so you can talk to everyone else in the Lobby
• 🏷️ In the Lobby, staff and supporters keep their rank and everyone else shows as [LOBBY]
• 🗳️ /vote works in the Lobby too, and vote announcements show up there
• 🕯️ Died on One Life Hardcore? You're welcome back in the Lobby to hang around and chat with everyone. One Life Hardcore itself stays closed to you, and players banned by staff stay banned from the whole network

🚧 The Lobby is a work in progress. There isn't a lot to see yet, but we're building it up step by step, and it will keep getting better as time goes by. Want to help? We're looking for builders (see below).

🗳️ Still Time to Vote: The New Server's World

The poll for Semi One Life Hardcore is still open. It's the same poll as in our last update, so if you already voted there, your vote is counted. You can still change it here.

• 🏘️ Vanilla Structures: only the structures you know from vanilla Minecraft
• 🏰 Advanced Structures: bigger, more advanced structures to explore, and harder mobs

⏰ The poll closes on Sunday 25 October. This is one of a few votes over the coming weeks that shape the new server.

🏆 Voting Event

This month, Vynish is hosting a special Voting Event!

• 🥇 The top 3 voters on One Life Hardcore SMP get a special in-game reward from Vynish
• 🗳️ Vote on every site with /vote, every day you can (it works in the Lobby now too)
• 📊 Keep an eye on the Votes leaderboard in /stats or on the [Leaderboards](/wiki/leaderboards) to see if you're in the top 3
