Ghost Mode (Beta), Voice Chat in the Lobby & a Fresh Start for Semi

Death on One Life is final… but for our supporters, it doesn't have to be the very end. 👻

👻 Come Back as a Ghost (Beta)

Died on One Life Hardcore with an Epic or Mythic rank? You can now return as a ghost. Open the Server Selector compass in the Lobby and choose Join as a ghost.

As a ghost you:

• 🕊️ Fly freely around spawn, in a 2000 × 2000 area around 0, 0
• 🌫️ Are invisible to the living and hidden from the tab list
• 🧱 Can't fly through solid blocks: only through the sky and open caves
• 🤐 Can't chat, message anyone or use voice chat
• ✋ Can't touch anything: no breaking, opening, picking up or teleporting
• 📊 Don't earn any stats, play time or advancements

You're still out of the game: a ghost can watch the world you left behind, but can never play in it again. 🕯️

🧪 Ghost mode is a beta perk. It's brand new, so things may still change or not work perfectly yet. Spotted a bug or have an idea? Let us know on Discord or open a ticket.

Staff can take ghost access away from anyone who abuses it.

⚠️ The Store Is Temporarily Disabled

For now, ranks can't be bought. PayPal is withholding around €200 of our payments without giving us a concrete reason.

• 🛑 Until that's sorted out, the store stays disabled
• ✅ As soon as it's fixed, everything goes back to normal
• 💎 Ranks you already have keep working as always

🎙️ Voice Chat in the Lobby

The Lobby now has proximity voice chat too, the same as on One Life Hardcore. Using the voice chat mod? It connects by itself when you're in the Lobby, so you can talk while you wait or hang out. 🗣️

🛠️ Semi One Life Hardcore: A Fresh Start

Work on our second server keeps going. We've cleared the test world to make room for a brand-new one, built around what you vote for. The structures poll below decides what goes into it.

How death works there is ready too:

• ⏳ Dying gives you a 2-week ban, not a permanent one
• 🕒 Your death screen shows exactly when you're back in
• 🧭 The Server Selector in the Lobby counts down the time you have left
• ✅ Once the 2 weeks are up, just join again and you start over at spawn

🗳️ Still Time to Vote: The New Server's World

The poll for Semi One Life Hardcore is still open. It's the same poll as in our last update, so if you already voted there, your vote is counted. You can still change it here.

• 🏘️ Vanilla Structures: only the structures you know from vanilla Minecraft
• 🏰 Advanced Structures: bigger, more advanced structures to explore, and harder mobs

⏰ The poll closes on Sunday 25 October. This is one of a few votes over the coming weeks that shape the new server.
